Restaurant Equipment Retail Sales Associate - Full & Part-Time Positions Available

Location: St Paul, MN

Fulfill customer service needs at our restaurant equipment and supply store.


  • Answer inbound phone calls for catalog sales and cross sell additional items
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up calls and emails
  • Complete walk-in sales in the warehouse showroom
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Completing daily operational duties as assigned by management.
  • Gain the required equipment knowledge to make profitable sales and recommendations.
  • Continue to expand on product knowledge through manufacturer training sessions
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, overcome objections of current and prospective customers


  • Must be willing to work Saturdays from 8am-2pm
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing and receiving dozens of calls daily
  • Strong mathematical ability in percentages, ratios, and margins


Project Administrator

Location: Marion, IA

Oversee and perform administrative functions concerned with Rapids Contract & Design projects.


  • Communicate via phone/email with contractors
  • Schedule training
  • Place purchase orders and completing any necessary follow-up tasks
  • Prepare a variety of reports

New Account Development Manager

Location: Marion, IA

Develop new business by analyzing account potential and working with customers. Minimal to no in-bound calls.


  • Initiating, developing, and closing sales
  • Recommending new applications and sales strategies
  • Work with new Rapids catalog and web-based customers to develop an understanding of their business and equipment/supply needs


Account Manager & Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Marion, IA

Perform relationship maintenance services for existing Chain Restaurant Solutions clients.


  • Serve as the interface between the customer service and the sales team
  • Create long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned clients
  • Develop an understanding of customer's needs/demands, then create a plan to meet these demands
  • Monitor the quality of services provided and be directly involved with the existing accounts to ensure an outstanding service level quality


CAD Operator & Design Specialist

Location: Position available in IA, MN, and MO

Involved in project layout and design for foodservice operation jobs with Rapids Contract & Design.


  • Work directly with Rapids distributor sales representatives to ensure client needs are met in layout and design
  • Work with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors


  • AutoCad education and/or experience
  • Familiarity with Sketchup or Revit is preferred
